Q: How can I invest with Equitree Capital?

We run one strategy: a private-equity approach to listed Indian small and micro-cap businesses, held in a concentrated portfolio of 12–15 companies. There are two ways to access it: Indian residents: through our PMS. New investments are made in Emerging Opportunities II, which follows the same philosophy and research process as our flagship Emerging Opportunities scheme. You can invest directly, without a distributor. NRIs and global investors: through our GIFT City AIF, a USD route into the same strategy. For onboarding and documentation, get in touch.

Q: What is Emerging Opportunities II?

Emerging Opportunities II is our second PMS scheme, launched in September 2026. It uses the same investment philosophy, research process and risk framework as Emerging Opportunities, which we have managed since 2017. In private-equity terms it is our Fund II: a fresh, concentrated portfolio of 12–15 businesses. It may also own some Emerging Opportunities companies where valuations remain attractive and growth visibility is strong, and it may participate selectively in IPOs, QIPs and pre-IPO opportunities. Emerging Opportunities is no longer accepting fresh investments or top-ups, so all new PMS commitments are made in Emerging Opportunities II. It is newly launched and has no performance history of its own. See the key terms.

Q: What is the minimum investment for Equitree Capital's PMS?

₹1 crore. We invest in small caps the way a private-equity fund would, with concentrated, long-term positions. The higher ticket size keeps investors aligned with that approach and with the volatility that comes with this part of the market.

Q: What are the fees, and is there an exit load?

There is no exit load. The fee structure has a management fee, a performance fee and a hurdle rate, and the rates depend on how much you invest. Our fee calculator shows the exact fees for your amount. Performance fees crystallise only when the portfolio reaches 2x the initial investment or on exit, whichever is earlier. A high-water mark and a compounded hurdle rate apply.

Q: Who should consider investing with Equitree Capital?

Our PMS suits investors who: have a horizon of 5 years or longer, and want long-term wealth creation; are comfortable with the higher volatility of small and micro-cap stocks; are allocating around 15–20% of their equity portfolio to small and micro-caps.
